As a gifted education specialist, classroom teacher, coach, and national presenter, I bring real-world experience, heartfelt stories, and research-based strategies to every speaking engagement. I’ve worked with educators, families, and school leaders across a variety of settings and am deeply committed to helping others understand and support gifted and twice-exceptional students.

For many families, identification opens the door to more questions than answers. This session offers guidance, tools, and encouragement to help parents understand giftedness, advocate for their child, and navigate the emotional landscape that often comes with raising gifted kids.

Centering Equity in Gifted Education
We can’t have excellence without equity. I speak to the importance of identifying and nurturing giftedness in historically underserved populations—offering strategies for schools and districts to make gifted programs more inclusive and representative.

Understanding and Supporting Twice-Exceptional Learners
2e students are often misunderstood or missed entirely. I share real examples, practical strategies, and tools that help educators recognize and support students who are both gifted and have learning differences or disabilities.

Families don’t need a degree in education to be strong advocates. I equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge, language, and confidence to work in partnership with schools and speak up for their child’s needs.

Strong teams start with self-awareness. In this session, I guide team members to reflect on their individual strengths, needs, and work styles.
